Tandem Buggy for larger children

The Tandem Buggy has been designed to cater for a child who needs some support and a younger sibling who needs to join the party.

With either a Baby Carrier or a toddler seat, the Tandem Buggy gives you a travel solution for a younger sibling. The main special needs seating caters for children from approx. 2-8 years

The Tandem Buggy is designed to enable families who have a disabled child and another younger child to enjoy the freedom they deserve.  The system is not designed for two children who both have special needs as we are not able to provide postural support in the second seat.

This buggy has enabled many families to resume a normal active life after having another child, where otherwise they are trapped at home!

The system works from birth with the Mimmo Baby Car Seat that is designed to be used in a vehicle, and then also attaches to the rear of the Tandem Buggy Frame  with an adaptor bracket.  As the younger sibling grows, they then use the sibling sling seat that attaches to the same attachment points.

Features:

• The Mimmo baby car seat is suitable from birth to 9 months old (The Car Seat has to be the one that we supply - it is produced in the same factory as the seat unit and is the only one that is compatible)
• The sibling seat takes a child from 9 months up till 3-4 years old
• The Maximum Weight Capacity for the Main Front Seat is 35kg. 
• The Maximum weight for the rear baby seat is 9kg and the rear sibling seat has a maximum weight capacity of 20kg.
• The Mimmo car seat is used for babies from birth till around 9 months, and after this age they can transfer to the Sibling Sling Seat. 
• The toddler seat removes if not required, and you can attach either a Sibling seat – 1-3 years or a Baby Car Seat – 0-9months. These are quickly and easily detached allowing the buggy to function as a single buggy during the school day, and converting to a double at home and during holidays.
• Mobility frame folds down for transport (seat is removed first).
• Crash Tested. Please note - the second sibling seat should be removed during transport
