Testimonials

I prescribe Medifab HIP standing frames for a number of my disabled paediatric clients, and I frequently choose these frames for the following advantages:

  • The chest and pelvic supports surround the child's trunk offering more security and symmetrical positioning.
  • The tray tables are removable in order to place the child nearer to other work surfaces, e.g. tables, kitchen benches and water troughs for preschool water play.
  • The HIP 101 and 121 are height adjustable to allow the child to be positioned at the level of their peers, or at a different work surface height. The HIP accommodates most children with Cerebral Palsy, (both spastic quadriplegics and children with Dystonial Athetoid cerebral palsy).
  • HIP standing frames are a practical size to use in classrooms. Several of the children that I work with use them in their preschool, primary, high school and home settings.
