Medifab exhibits JACO Robot Arm at ANZCOS Spinal Conference in Brisbane

Medifab was recently invited to exhibit our popular Arm Supports at the combined annual conferences of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) and Australia and New Zealand Spinal Cord Society (ANZSCoS) that was held in Brisbane from the 13th – 17th of September.

Medifab exhibited our revolutionary JACO Robotic Arm and MultiLink Dynamic Arm Support during this time which created a lot of interest from medical professionals working directly with spinal patients and other disabilities throughout Australia and New Zealand.

It was a busy week with over 400 delegates who attended over these days. Many who visited our stand over these days had a turn of operating the JACO Robotic Arm with tasks such as to pick up a bottle of water or an apple and manoeuvre it to their mouth. Those who tried this found it easy to operate and very quickly learnt the operating modes.

The Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) is the peak professional organisation for Rehabilitation Medicine education and training in Australia and New Zealand. The Australian and New Zealand Spinal Cord Society (ANZSCoS) has been formed in order to promote high quality management of people with spinal cord lesions throughout Australia and New Zealand. The combined meeting brought together health professionals of all disciplines (medical, allied health, nursing and other rehabilitation/spinal cord injury professionals) from all over Australian New Zealand and beyond.
